March 12 – March 16 – LGBTTQ* Awareness Week!
During LGBTTQ* Week, we’ll be having various events going on! We’ll also be having an Rainbow Pride Mosaic Open house all week. Bring your friends, families, and introduce them to the group. Talk about your involvement and teach them things that they probably didn’t know about you! Make sure to come on by! Hot Chocolate and cookies will be served!

Monday, March 12th – Blood Ban Campaign Talk
Want to know more about the Blood Ban? Come to this fantastic and informative presentation given by one of our members, Karleigh! (FANTABULOUS)
Tuesday, March 13th and Thursday, March 15th – LGBTTQ* Tables
Various Tables will be out in the University Centre! Rainbow Resource Centre will be tabling. We’re also trying to get Gio’s Cares, but we’ll let you know when it’s confirmed.
Wednesday, March 14th – Two-Spirit Talk by Lorne Olson
Want to know more on what it means to be Two-Spirit? Come on out to the Student Group Resource Centre at 12pm! Wraps, hot chocolate and coffee will be provided!
Thursday, March 15th – Drag Performance! @ 12pm
This event had been confirmed but then we had to switch the time because of Conference and Catering’s rules. I’m just waiting on a confirmation for the time change from the performers before it’s official… again.
Friday, March 16th – Buttons Bi You!
Want to learn how to make a button? Want to design your own? Come on by to the RPM! We’ll be making Buttons all day!
Friday, March 23rd – Sex Toy Party at 6:00pm
Stressed out that exams are coming up? We’re having another sex toy party! We’ll be collaborating with the Womyn’s Centre and the Aboriginal Students Association! Free food!
Monday March 12 – Friday March 16 – True Colours – GoSA Gallery Show
Come check out the GoSA Show that will be happening in the University Centre. Don’t know where or what the GoSA is? Well, here’s a little information about it!

The GoSA (Gallery of Student Art) is a non-profit and non-commercial student run gallery and exhibition space that is funded and supported by the University of Manitoba Students’ Union. Opportunities for exhibitions are open to all and applicants for solo, group, or curated shows are encouraged.
